OBITUARYSASEK,Karol NickalausDecember 19, 1936-April 16, 2018 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden loss of our father Karol who passed away suddenly at St. Anthony’s Hospital in The Pas, MB at the age of 81 years.Karol will forever live in the hearts and minds of his two children - Karl Jr. and Krystelle (James) Byttynen. Gido will also be lovingly remembered by his two grandchildren Glory and Anthony Byttynen. He will also be missed by his current wife (Gloria); his brother Melton Sasek of Clearwater, BC; and his sisters Sherri Henes of Winnipeg, MB and Martha Ezepchuk of The Pas, MB.Karol was predeceased by his beloved first wife Judy in 2003; his brother John; and his parents Mary and Josef,Karol was united in marriage to Judy Sasek (nee Graham) onFebruary 16, 1962 in The Pas, MB. They were married for 41 years until the time of her death. He remarried in 2004 to Gloria Tooley of The Pas, MB. Karol will also be missed by numerous relatives, countless friends and colleagues too numerous to mention.Karol worked at the local pulp and paper mill in The Pas up until his retirement, He loved to fix things around the house and spend time puttering around in his garage. Our father had a wonderful life and will forever be remembered by all who were fortunate enough to have him touch their lives with his kindness, generosity and love.If so desired, donations in lieu of flowers may be made in his name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3L 0K6. Karol did not want a memorial service nor a funeral, and a private graveside interment will take place at a later date.Hemauer Funeral Home and Cremation Services, were in care of arrangements.
