Funeral Service Held For Mrs. Oscar MaranderMrs. Oscar A. Marander, 62, of 114 Pike Location, Wakefield, died at 3:45 p. m. Thursday at Divine Infant Hospital, Wakefield.The former Elsie Poikonen, was born Aug. 20, 1905 at Wakefield. She attended school at Bessemer and was married to Oscar A. Marander Jan. 13, 1927. They lived in Iron-wood until 1942 when they foved to Wakefield.Mrs. Marander was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Wakefield, and the Ruth Circle of the church.Surviving, besides her husband, are one son, John A. Marander of White Pine; one daughter, Mrs. Robert E. Anderson, Excelsior, Minn.; one brother, George A. Poikonen of Tower, Minn.; one sister, Mrs. Linda Wakefield of Seattle, Wash., and two grandchildren.Funeral service were held Sunday at 2 p. m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Wakefield, with the Rev. Wallace Leno officiating. Interment was at Riverside Cemetery, Iron-wood.Pallbearers were Joseph Johns, Oiva Koivula, Joseph Ringsmuth, Leonard W. Johnson, Walter Oman and Nels Kuivinen.
