STARMONT STUDENTS TO ATTEND UIC MOCK CONVENTIONFifty-eight students will represent Starmont High School at Upper Iowa College of Fayette on Thursday, April 25. The stu-ents will make up the Ohio delegation in the Convention and have high school senior Steve Wegner, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ted Wegner of Arlington serving as their state chairman. The student delegation is being sponsored by the Starmont High School Social Studies Department.The Mock Convention will hear United States Senator Jack Miller deliver the keynote address at 10:30 a.m. and address by James E. Bromwell, candidate for Republican nomination, United States Senator at 11:30 a.m. The afternoon will be occupied with the balloting for presidential and vice-presidential nominee.
