RETIRED CAPITALIST FARMER BUSINESSMAN OF THIS CITY Mr. George W. Stimson, wealthy re tired capitalist of Los Angeles, Cal passed quietly away at his home in Pasadena Saturday morning. Pymeral services were held Monday afternoon Mr. Stimpson is an uncle of Mrs. Frank L. Statson and is the last mem ber of the Stimson family, having reached the age of eighty years. He is survived in his immediate family by five children, Robert, in Belgium, and George Jr., Cordelia, Janey and Charles, all in Passadena, where the home has been made since Mr. Stim son moved his family from this city to California forty years ago. Mr. Stimson's earlier life was spent in this city, where he was a member of the firm of Stimson Brothers and laid a foundation of his exceptional success in the business world. Last summer he returned here to visit relatives and renew the interests his early business associations, en ‘ute to the White Mountains for the summer. He was a reciprocal pleasure to members of his family connection and the friends of the period of his residence here.
