June a ‘tew’ months after the con gregation of Heckton Methodial Episcopal Church, along the River road at Heckton,* had paid off the last debt on the church ‘building, fire destroyed if Sunday night... Dau phin and Harrisburg fireman fought the flames: for an hour while hun dreds of Sunday motoriata were kept on the thove in the highway past the building. The church, a frame structure was built about 41 years ago, and dedi cated by, Governor Pattison. Fire men believe the finmes started near the furnace in the basement. Parts of three walls,a faw charred roof timbers and shingles, part of the floor, and the pulpit, are all that 5 left of the building.
