Street Hallway Company Making Prograss With Construction. The Polk Street line which the company only intends to build to the Polk street school building, to nearly complete as far as the track laying is concerned, and work has now commenced on the Fourth street l Ine, which will extend from the Am arillo hotel to Buchanan airee. On Buchanan street It will turn north to the union station, and will run along Firat street to Lincoln, out Lincoln to the various additions that the bullders of the limes are pro moting Progress on the work has been rapid, and there is little doubt of the fulfillment of the promise of the officers of the company that the first car would start on July Fourth. The sinow, at any rate, will be In readl ious on that date and if the installa tion of the power house is complete and the company anceceds In buying or borrowing car equipment In time, the first trolley ride to Amarilo will be one of the features of the Fourth.
