lion. Turner Reavis, of Gainesville, Ala., has, wo learn, received the appointment of Gov. Moore, as Commissioner to prepare a Revised Code of the laws of Alabama. This is a most excellent appointment, Mr. Reavis having had considerable experience in Digesting, and is a good lawyer.
