Aileen M. Hite Mrs. Aileen M. Hite, 56, of 114 EF. Fayette St., Hillsdale, died Thursday morning in the Hillsdale Community Health Center. She was a former em ployee of the Coldwater State Home and Training School. She was born in Hillsdale Feb. 20, 1925, the daughter of I.0. (Tink) and Leta Iles Amsbaugh. She lived her entire life in Hillsdale County. Survivors include her father, in Hillsdale; one daughter, Mrs. Steven (Gay) Shaffer of Boise, Idaho; three sons, Steven of Burns Flat, Okla., Gary of Camden, and Douglas of Frontier; one sister, Mrs. Norma Triechel of Glad stone, Mich.; two brothers, Theodore of Hillsdale and Richard of Homer; and seven grandchildren. Two grandchildren preceded her in death. The funeral is at 2 p.m. Sunday,in the Van Horn-Eagle Funeral Home, Hillsdale. The Rev. Harold Deipert will officiate, and burial will be in the Lakeview Cemetery, Hillsdale. Friends may call at the funeral home anytime. Charlie W. Gardner Services for Charlie W. Gardner of 131 Williams Street, Litchfield, will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in the George White Funeral Home in Litchfield with the Rev. Clyde Wonders and the Rev. Anne Wepner officiating. A retired employee of Simpson In dustries and a custodian for the Lit chfield Congregational Church for many years, he died Thursday afternoon in the Hillsdale Community Health Center. He was 79. Mr. Gardner was born Sept. 20, 1901, in Mayville to Floyd and Emma Gardner and moved to Hillsdale County 40 years ago and then to his present address 12 years ago. Gertrude Southworth, whom he married in 1930, survives. Other survivors include two sons, Charles and Keith of Coldwater; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, a sister and two brothers. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be in the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Litchfield. Dorothy McCarty Kinney Services for Dorothy McCarty Kinney, 32 East Carleton Road, will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday in the VanHorn-Eagle Funeral Home, Hillsdale, with the Rev. David Vandenburg officiating. A former long-time employee of the Kiddie Brush and Toy Company of Jonesville, she died Thursday evening in the Hillsdale Community Health Center. She was 77. Born July 23, 1902, to James and Emma (Booth) Kiersey in Hillsdale County, she lived at 135 Murphy Street in Jonesville for 50 years before moving to her present address one week ago. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Theodore R. McCarty, and by her second husband, William P. Kinney. Four brothers and four sisters also preceded her in death. Survivors include two sons, Wayne McCarty of Monroe, and Howard Mc Carty of Alameda, Calif.; five grand children and nine great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the funeral home after 12 noon Saturday and from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in the Sunset View Cemetery in Jonesville.
