2 More Women Slain*In Santa Cruz AreaAPTOS (AP) — Two women were found murdered here today, the 18th and ItHh slaying victims in the scenic Santa Cruz area this year, the sheriff’s office said.Detective Bud Murray said inspectors went to an Aptos house and found the bodies about 6 a.m.Victims’ names were withheld pending notification of relatives.In Pueblo, Colo., police arrested Edmund Emil Kemper 111. 24, of Aptos at a pay telephone off an expressway here early today,A Pueblo police spokesman said Kemper telephoned Santa Cruz police and said he wanted to surrender. The spokesman here said that Santa Cruzpolice confirmed the deaths ofKemper’s mother and another woman.He was arrested as he talked on the telephone after Santa Cruz police telephoned local police and kept him on the line until they arrived.Police here said he was, being held for questioning by California authorities.Murray said one victim apparently was a resident of the house and, the other was a visiting friend, lie said it was not yet determined how they died.Herbert Mullin, 25,- had been indicted by a county grand jury in the murders of 10 persons in the Santa Cruz area in one three-week period. However, he has not been' linked with the other slayings in this coastal resort area this year.
