Funeral services for Isaac Lang Holland were held from his home at 400 North Cherry street, Monday afternoon, at two o'clock, with I)r. Folsom, pastor of the Headland Avenue Baptist church officiating. The local Ma onic lodge waij In charge of the funeral.Mr. Holland died at a local hospital Sunday morning at 11 :riO after an illness of about three weeks. The cause of hiH death in believed to have b«en internal poisoning.While at Compass Lake, Fla., on a fishing trip, about three weeks ago, Mr. Holland drank some water from an old rusty pump. It is thought that the water from his pump caused the poisoning, as lie immediately became sick and came home.After being ill at his home for about a week, he was carried to a local hospital where he died two weeks later. He was #»K years of age.He was one of Dothan’s oldest citizens, coming here when the city had a population of only a few hundred. .Since coming here he has done carpentry work and operated a farm near town.He is survited by his wife, one daughter, Mrs. Brunson of Tallassec,I Ala., three sons, Talmadge Holland, of Pelham, lt;»a., Irving and Kli Holland of this city, and one brother, J. F.'J!'Holland of this city.Active pull bearers for the funeral were C. L. Poftivent, C. J. Hollins, John May, h. B. Hallman, Deck Sanders, Arthur Weathers, K. L. Forrester and i'j. J. Buntin.
