Charles Youngblood has with drawn from the race for the Demo cratic nomination for Trustee of Van Buren township. Notice of his withdrawal was published in the Veedersburg News last week. This leaves a clear field for Deid rick H. Wallace, the well known druggist. A primary convention will be held next Saturday to nominate a township ticket. The withdrawing of Mr. Youngblood will avoid what might have termi nated in a nasty fight for this nom ination. Both candidates were good,, competent, men, and each had a host of followers. The Dem ocrats of the township are to be congratulated upon this solution.
