It was decided to begin hauling gravel at once from Tjossem’s pits to the corner of the Jerry Vanderbilt ranch and work ?r west to the Jones ranch and then yrsouth.i- The Milwaukee railroad will be e asked to furnish the gravel for the d ] road leading south from Kittitas, a proposition which the representatives of the company agreed to lastr-1 fall.There is a probability that two d outfits will soon be working on the e roads of district No. 4—the dis-s trict’s own Caterpillar outfit and the big engine and cars belonging r to the county. It is proposed to pay for use of the latter by trading work in district No. 1.s,
