SOME of the ‘Old Boys”? of St. Bon aventure’s College entertained the hockey team last night at Wood’s Restaurant to celebrate the winning of the inter-e legiate championship trophy. The din ing-room was filled to its utmost capacity, and the table was decorated tastefully and suitably, the College colours obtain ing prominence. A perusal of the menu will show that brains as well as brawn was a feature of the festivities. MENU : SOUP. Mulligatawny de ‘ line-up.” ENTREE. Salad de Sardines, a fa ‘‘ face.”” JOINTS. Sirloin of Beef, ‘‘ off-side.’’ Roast ‘Lurkey ‘‘ Wings.” Cranbery Sauce de McGrath. VEGETABLES, Creamed Potatoes (Keating Squash), Peas, a l’Opposition. SWEETS DE VICTOIRE. Pudding o a St. Ben’s. Jelly, ‘‘ Plus” Blanc Mange. DESERT. Fruit Packs, Nut oo Raisin Pads. Following an excellent repast came the toast list, to which young and old “‘ boys” contributed an ample flow of wit and humor. We were ee struck with the manly and sportsmanlike tone of the speeches of the inter-collegiate hockey captains and players, Messrs. Power, Keating, Blackall, Burnham, Lamb, Cahill, Parsons and Drs. Keegan and Howlett enlivened the proceedin with appropriate songs. At midnight ‘‘Auld Lang Syne’’ and the National Anthem brought the gathering to a close.
