April 17.—Mr*. Mary Baird nee Hob* Inson, widow of the Into Henry Baird, fell asleep Ik Jesus, Saturday afternoon April 17th, aged (17 years. She ' had been a great but patient sufferer tr for the lent H years, with the dreaded disease consumption, but was confined to her bed only one week previous to her death. The deceased was born In New Hampshire In 1*29; but moved with her parents to Buck’sBridge while quite young. There atshan early age she experienced religion and joined the church In 186k she cam© to Stockholm and two years later became the wife of Henrv Baird, with whom she lived until his death In Nov. 1MK). Mrs. Baird was a consistent Christian, a faithful member of the M. E. church of thlt place for many yearn; a teacher in the Sunday school until she was obliged to resign because of falling health. Three brothers, two sisters and one stepson, Robert Baird, of Buck ton, wltb whom she had lived since her hus-band’s demise, and two step-daughtern. Mrs. George Kingsbury, of Stock, and Mrs, Bob Johnson, of Ruckton, are left to mourn her loss The deceased made all arrangements for her funeral services which will occur front the M.
