Donald Freerksen Dies• At University HospitalFuneral services for Donald C, Freerksen, 37, brother of Gerald Freerksen of Iowa Falls, were held April 15 at St. Peters’ Lutheran church in Rieeville and at St.. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran church in Eldora. Burial was in the Eldora cemetery.Mr, Freerksen died April 10 at the University hospital in Iowa City. He was born April 7, 1916 at Eldora. son of Sadie and Louis Freerksen. He was married June 26, 1937 at Waterloo to Lydia Steinfeldt and they moved to a farm near Greene, and back to Eldora in 1939, where he lived until 1946. He then went to Marshalltown, and in 1949 bought a farm near LoRoy, Minn., where the family had since made its:home, , . ,He had been in failing health | for a number of years and suffer-j ed a coronary attack in February. 1951, and was hospitalized in Mason City for five weeks, and during the following winter he was in the Creseo hospital several times, and last year went to Rochester. _ „■He i,s survived by his widow; his moilier, five children, five brothers and four sisters.
