E. Whisnand shortlv after 4 o’clock Fridav afternoon, parked on0 road about three miles south of Fowlkes station. It was brought into Fleetra by Officer Whisnand.The sedan, owned by J. C. Smith of 2127 Avenue Wichita Falls, was stolen Mondav from its parking pine** in front of his barber shop located at 925 Scott avenue.When discovered, Officer Whisnand reported, the car was still in running condition and the tank contained gasoline The spare tire was Hat. The left door glass was shot out and buckshot were found lodged in the front seat of the car and on the floor.Folowing the robbery, in which $500 in currency was taken, L. B. Moore, branch manager of the Bank who was alone at the time of the holdup, ran from the bank and fired a load of buckshot into the car on1 the driver’s side.
