She had been sick with measles for ten days and while her family and friends knew she wns seriously ill, her death cnmc as a great shock.She was an active member of the Methodist church and took great interest in both church and civic activities.Funeral services will be* held at Ovett Tuesday afternoon with Rev. McKinsey officiating. Interment will be in the Odom cemetery, two miles west of Richton. The O. E. S. will have charge of the ceremonies at the grave.Mrs. Laurendlne is survived by her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Bruce Sumrall; one grandson; two brothers, Boss and Ben Palmer, of Richton; one sister, Mrs. M. W. Farlow, Hattiesburg; and a host of other relatives.
