Stephanie Michelle Smith and Robin Cecil Smith were united in marriage at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, April 3, 2004, in the Perkins Chapel at Southern Methodist Univer sity in Dallas. The Rev. Anne Clifton and the bride’s aunt ‘Chaplain Marisa McNeil officiated. The bride’s parents are Ronald and Jo Anne Smith of Duncanville. Parents of the groom are Cecil Smith and the late Margaret Smith of Odessa, Texas. The bride chose Sherry Pettifer, sister of the bride, of Garland, as her matron of honor, and Patti McClure, aunt of the bride, of Grand Prairie, as her maid of honor. Her bridesmaid was Wendy Floyd of Plano. The flower girl was Devon Pettifer, niece of the bride, of Garland. The best man was Byron Smith, brother of the groom, of Round Rock, Texas. Groomsmen were Steve Estes of Odessa and Rod Wunsch of Van Nuys, Calif. .The ring bearer was Fisher Smith, son of the groom, of Lubbock. Candlelighters were Ste phanie Mooney and Sandra Kennedy. The bride wore a white satin, strapless, Michelangelo, A-line, split front design gown. The bodice was em bellished with seed pearls and clear crystal beads. The center lower half of the gown was also accented with a de sign of seed pearls and clear crystal beads. Her chapel length train was adorned in the center with a beautiful design of seed pearls and crystal beads. The bride’s veil was fingertip-length with a tiara of sparkling crystals and pearls. The bride, wore a double strand of pearls that were given to Her by her late paternal grandmother. Her bouquet was a cascade design of spring colored roses, star gazer lilies, mini calla lilies and sprinkled with stepha notis. A dinner and dance recep tion was enjoyed by family and friends at Maggiano's Little Italy in North Park Center, with live band enter tainment by “The Pictures” of Austin. The bride is a graduate of Duncanville High School and is employed by a private practice medical doctor in Austin The groom is a graduate of Odessa High School and is ‘employed by Motorola in Austin. ‘Following a honeymoon Western Caribbean Cruise to Key West, Grand Cayman and Cozumel, the couple will reside in Austin.
