David Escritt received word of the death of his father, William Escritt of Oakdale, nebraska. April 8th. He was almost 90 years old. Mr and Mrs David Escritt and• Mr and Mrs Mervin Escritt and family left Saturday April 9th to be with theirf family for a few days. Mr Escritt was I the father of 10 children, 40 grandchil-• dren and 70 great-grandchildren. Funeral1 services were held at the Church if• Christ in Neiligh, Nebraska and burial atOakdale on Monday, April 11.- Mrs Deeann Kinzer, Roger Escritt, Mr , and Mrs Jim Escritt of Council Bluffs f and Mr and Mrs Kenneth Escritt i attended the funeral for their grandfather Escritt Monday and they and the Mervin Escritt family returned to their i home Monday evening. Mr and Mrs : David Escritt remained with relatives and returned home Wednesday, just ahead of the snow storm.
