Muleriders Nip OBU For Second VictoryMAGNOLIA (Special)-The Southern State Muleriders posted their second victory of the season against nine defeats in a 3-2 win over Ouachita Baptist University here Wednesday afternoon.Two of the Muleriders earlier losses were to OBU Their only win was against Centenery College of Shreveport Ouachita has a 5-5 record for the year.Three Rider pitchers struck out 16 OBU batters in Wednesday's contest Charlie James started for SSC and struck out six men and posted a perfect three innings before he was lifted.Ronnie I^eMay struck out seven batters in the four innings that he worked while freshman Charles Ard got three in his two Innings of relief Sophomore Johnny Mills' solo home run in the seventh inning scored the winning run for the Riders.The only other extra bases hit by SSC was a double by Tom ChesshlrRounding out hits for the Muleriders were Don Williams.
