FUNERAL SERVICES FOR MRS.M. 0. BROWN HELD THRURS. |Funeral servic ,*s were; he’d last Thursday, April 15, for Mrs. M. 0. Brown, who died, at her heme here the first of last week, after a long j 11 ness. Rev. Bill Jennings officiated at the services which were conducted at the home. A quarteUe composed of W A.. Smith, Horace Frame, Joe Ritch e and Hugh Waller furnished quartette siitging for the services. Pall bearers were Jesse Cowan, Lester and Oliver Chronister, Shorty and Abe Rowell and Carl Kelley.The deceased was bom in North. Carolina in 1862. She was united in marriage to J. R Brown in 1880 and to this union were born eight children, five of whom are living. The Browns migrated westward in 1804, settling at Vian where they lived until 1900, when they moved to Checotah, which has remained their homew Mrs. Brown lived a dqvout Christian life throughout her life, being affiliated .with the Free Holinesshhh. and walking in the light ofGod's blessed word until death.. Survivors include the husband;J. R Brown; three son^ Hut, Warren and Hester, all of Checotah; and two daughters, Hattie Thomas of Checotah; Bertha Buie of Eu-! fahla; 28 grand children; and 38 i great grand children and 1 great-! I grtiaf grand child.
