Well, we are having some nice spring Weather again after several rainy days. Mr. and Mrs. James Galey and son Edward called on, the latter’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Faulkenburg of Eckerly. Mr. Faulkenburg is blind and in a very serious shape. He is 88 years old Mrs. Sis Carr, wife of Elijah Carr died at her home Thursday evening. Sisse was a true and faithful wife and true neighbor, loved by all who knew her. She was just sick one week.She was laid to rest in the Walker grave yard. Mrs. Maudie Humphrey of Doolittle attended the funeral of Mrs. Carr Sat urday. Mrs. Ora Faulkenburg and Mrs. Charlie Faulkenburg of St. Croix at tended the funeral of Mrs. Carr. App Esarcy and Fred Greimer went to Eeekly Wednesday with a load of produce. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Galey and daughter, Mrs. Gene Galey and daugh ter, Mrs. Bert Quinlin attended the funeral of Mrs. Carr Saturday. Miss Addie Kaiser of Oriole called on her sister, Mrs. Ed. Polyard one day last week. Mrs. Ida Rissler of here called on her parents, Mr. and Mrs John Frakes Wednesday. Geo. Saddler and wife were in town Tuesday shopping. Mr. Frank Casper and wife called on Mrs. Geo. Saddler last Sunday. Lude and Appie Galey of here called at Will Goldmans’ Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Galey and daughter called at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Pete Curl Thursday. Blue Eyes.
