Work of the Revenue Officors.Last Friday morning Deputy Collector K. A. Aiken and Deputy Marshal VV. B. F. Corbin destroyed an illicit distillery near Long Creek.The following day tho same officers captured, seized and destroyed a largo outfit near tho same place. Tho outfit consisted of a forty-gallon capacity copper still, cp and worm, 10 formontors, 500 gallons of beer, 80 gallons of spirits besides a number of other fixtures usually found on such premises. When tho officers put in their appearance at tho distillory they found Ira and Dover Philips, who were arrested and bound over to tho GroouviUe court.Another Illicit outfit, located near tho homo of Jcs8o Holbrooks, near Long Creek, was destroyed. It consisted of a copper still, with aoapaciiy of 70 gallons, cap and worm, 40 gallons of spirits, about 1,400gallons of boor, 14 formontors, and other property. I lol brooks, tho su p-posed owner of tho still, was arrested and has been bound over to court for trial.
