Work of the Revenue Officors.Last Friday morning Deputy Collector K. A. Aiken and Deputy Marshal VV. B. F. Corbin destroyed an illicit distillery near Long Crook.The following day tho samo ofllcors captured, seized aud destroyed a largo outfit near tho samo place. Tho outfit consisted of a forty-gallon capacity copper still, c»ip and worm, 10 formoutor's, 500 gallons of beer, 510 gallons of spirits besidos a number of other fixtures usually found on such premises. When tho officers put in choir appearance at tho distillery they found Ira and Dover Phi'-lips, who were arrested and bound over to tho Greenville court.Another illicit outfit, located near tho homo of Jesso Holbrooks, near Long Creek, was destroyed. It consisted of a copper still, with a capaciiy of 70 gallons, cap and worm, 40 gallons of spirits, about l,400gallons of boor, 14 forniontorH, and otlior property. Holbrooks, tho supposed owner of the still, was arrested and has been hound ovor to court for trial.
