IuTiil Barmore, at his ship-yard, in Jeffersonville, has now employed eighty meu. lie has«m the stocks three large barges for the Missouri river Packet Company, and a loat for Yazoo river, )»eing built by Captain Harisott. The cold weather of the past few weeks has -somewhat delayed work in this yard, but the pros|eets are now fair that he will have plenty of worn for his luen to do all the present spring and summer, several large contracts being anticipated.
