Lula Dee VaughnLula Dee Vaughn dies TuesdayLula Dee Vaughn, 72, of 502 Cherry St., died Tuesday at St. Mary’s Health Center.She was born Feb. 17,1906, in Columbus, Miss., the daughter of the Rev. Lewis and Bessie Kidd Covington. On May 7, 1956, in St. Louis, she married the Rev. Milford S. Vaughn, who survives.Mrs. Vaughn moved to Jefferson City from Kansas City in 1976 She was an active member of Dunavant Chapel, A.ME. Zion Church.Other survivors include: one son, Charles L. Ward; two daughters, Katherine Ward Saunders and Bessie L. Ward; one brother, William Covington; all of St. Louis; and one grandchild.Friends may call at the Dulle Funeral Home after 7 p.m Friday. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Dunavant Chapel, A M E. Zion Church with the Rev. Wesley Beavers officiating.,Burial will be in the St. Peter’s Cemetery, St. Louis.
