Nine checks amounting to $150 were allegedly forged by William Hawkins, 17, of 620 N. Hickory, Arlington Heights over several weeks. Police arrested Hawkins at his home yesterday and charged him with forgery. The Bank and Trust Co. of Arlington Heights said that Hawkins forged his mother's name on four checks and his sister's name on five checks made out to himself. The police report said that Hawkins’ mother said that she would file complaints against her son. Bond was set for Hawkins at $1,000, and he is to appear in Arlington Heights Court May 8.
