Mr. and Mrs. Peter L. Geis en, Sr., celebrated their golden Wadding anniversary with a Mass, and the renewal of their marri age vows in a ceremony at Sac red Heart Catholic Church, Mon day evening. This was the same church they were married in 50 years ago, and they were the first couple married in the church after its dedication. Mrs. Geisen’s corsage was li lies of the valley and carnat ions centered with an orchid. She chose lillies of the valley and carnations because they were the flowers used in her bridal bou quet, Father Victor Clark, O.S.B, was celebrant at the mass, Ser vers were Mr. and Mrs. Geis en’s grandsons, Joe and Victor Geisen, Ushers were two more grand sons, Keith Campbell and Mich ael Waters, and Clark Branch, Jr., and Frank Fink, Jr. Wedding music was played by Richie Apel on the organ. Voca lists were Drs. James and Max Richard. Following the church cere mony, a reception was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lon Waters on Mitchell Rd, Mrs. Waters is the daughter of the anniversary celebrants, Mrs. Joe Voss kept the guest register. By the register was Mr. and Mrs. Geisen’s wedding pic ture, Mrs. Frank Fink, Jr., served the punch, and Mrs. Tilford Clark cut the cake. Out of town guests were: Mr. and Mrs. Peter L. Geisen, Jr., and Becky Lynn, and Mrs. Isabel Daigle, all of Beaumont, Tex., Mrs. Lottie Brigges, Mrs. George Geisen, Jr., and Mrs. Caroline Cross ,all of Cincinatti, Ohio; Mr. and Mrs. Heinz Klein of Huntsville; Mrs. Leroy Crut chfiled and Beverly Ann of Bir mingham; Ben Little of Gadsden; and Miss Annie Rauchmann of Hanceville, who was organist for the Geisen wedding 50 years ago, Mr. And Mrs. Peter L. Geisen, Sr.
