Missouri Athletic Association Elects Lon W. Harlow, ’07The “Cherry Diamond,” magazine of The Missouri Athletic Association of St. Louis, recently had a full-page picture of Mr. Lon W. Harlow, former Western cadet, who was elected president of the Association. Mr. Harlow graduated from W. M. A. in 1907.The magazine said of him: “Graduated from Western Miltary Academy at Alton, 111., in 1907, he entered the insurance business two years later, at present holding* the position of vice-president of National Surety Corporation of New York, and president of the Lon W. Harlow Co., Inc.“Commissioned in 1917 as captain at Fort Sheridan Training* Camp, he was sent overseas in 1918, remaining* there fourteen months, being assigned to the 354th Infantry of the 89th Division.“He is Past Commander l5of the H. B, Donnelly Legion Post No, 44 and holds membership in several hunting and fishing clubs.”Mr. Harlow has been a member of the Association since 1916 and has sexwed on many of the committees.Capt. 1W.
