Shocked by Death of Col. Bullock. [Divorce Suits Becoming Numerous in ‘Auglaize County. Another Was Filed Saturday in Which the Husband is Plaintiff. Forty-eight Applicants Took the Boxwell Examination Under Patterson Law Last Saturday. Whpakoneta, O., April 22.—Court was in session Saturday morning when the news of the death of Col. G. F. Bullock, of St. Marys, reached here and much consternation was caused among the court, oficers and attorneys. Col. Bullock was a prominent attorney of St. Marys, and has practiced in the courts here for more than twenty years. Immediately after noon a meeting of the bar was called, all of the Wapakoneta attorneys and a few from St. Marys being present. F.C. Layton and F. M. Homn were elected chairman and secretary respectively, of the meeting and it was then re solved that the Auglaize county bar and county officials attend the funeral, which is being held today, in a body. On motion, committe on resolutions, composed of J.J. Connaughton, F. M. Horn and J. H. Goeke, was appointed, one copy of resolutions to be spread upon court resorts and one to be furn ished the bereaved family. R. E. Layton, H. B. South and F. M. Horn were placed on the commutes of ar rangements to obtain a suitable floral tribute. ANOTHER DIVORCE SUIT. Divorce suits are coming in very regular during the past few weeks, weether being uled by Bert Kiefer ‘against Nellie Kiefer. ‘The plaintiff ‘alleges in his petition that they were married June 30th 1807, and have no children. That Nellie has failed, neg lected and refused to perform her ‘household duties‘as his wife during the time she lived with hir. That she was given to association with persons of vicious and lascivious character, habitually resorted to wine rooms and lather places of 1] repute and on the 2nd day of May, 1901, totally aband oned him. He asks divorce and other relief that may be proper. The parties live at St. Marys and sett her own any property, ACTION IN PARTITION, D. F. Mooney, guardian of Bessie O. Garver and Dollie E. Garver, has brought suit against Betts V. Garver, Tidy McDonald, Edith Blew, Lowell Garver, and the Ohie Oil Co., for the’ s partition of 55 acres in Noble town ship, formerly owned by Henry C. Garver, now deceased. WANTS PAY FOR SERVICES. An action for money was also fled by Eva Markley, plaintiff, against, John ©. Newland, defendant, as ad ministrator of the estate of William A. Newland, deceased, for work and labor performed. Plaintiff alleges that there is due her on an account ‘for services $714.77, for the eare of deceased in sickness, housework, washing and mending, feeding his horses and cattle and chopping his wood. She claims there is due her $2.00 per week for this work from some time in the year 1895 to October 17, 1981, with interest. She says the retaim was presented to the plaintiff and disallowed. FIRST UNDER PATTERSON LAW. The first Boxwell examination for this year was held Saturday in the basement of the court house. There was 2 days of 48 at the examination. PERSONALS AND OTHER THINGS. The boys of the Debonair club have engaged Reed's minstrel troup, con sisting of 60 people, for next Thursday evening, at Timmermester’s opera house. Benjamin H. Flinn, engineer of state board of health, was here Saturday to inspect the sewer system and take the grage of the river. He also made ex amination of the drainage into the river north of Anglaiza street.
