SMALLPOX.A Sporadic Case in Charge of the Board of Health.A man by the name of Burns was discovered a few days ago with a well developed case of smallpox, which it is said be took od at Hollywood. Burns was boarding with the family of J. H. Clark on Depot street when the discovery was made.Dr. Scott, president of the board of health,bad a tent built on a vacant lot in East Paragould, where the case was put under quarantine. This offended the residents of the neighborhood where the quarantine was established, and after some effort Dr. Scott procured a vacant lot from Jake Lambert to which the patient was removed. The case is now under strict quarantine, which will be maintained until it is discharged by Dr. Scott.Mr. Clarke, his wife and two children and two men who were boarders in the house were exposed and will be held as suspects, under strict quarantine until danger is past.
