Obituary,The death of Wm Johns, Sr., occurred Tuesday morning at 3 o’clock. He was born in Shelby county Kentucky, Nov. 15 1810. Came to this state with his parents when but a boy. He was married in Owen county Ind., toElizabeth Pitman June 6, 1833,. She died Dec. 27,1876. To them was born nine children, three girls and live boys. The girls are living, three of the boys are dead, and two of the boys, Samuel and William are still with us.In 1879 he was married to Mary Barbary Cummins w'ho so patiently and affectionately administered to him during his declining years. He was a man of sense and good moral character He bad been a member of the M.IE church for CO years. He was a soldier in the late war being a member of the 54 Reg. Ind., Vol.His funeral was preached at the M. E. church at 10 A. M. today (Wednesday) by the Rev.O.nchman. The G. A.
