The Seeley Lecture. The Forrest Post G. A. It. have engaged ('apt. II. B. Seeley to give his lecture on the battle of Gettsburg, at M. E. Church, on next Friday evening, April 23d. The captain is highly spoken of by the press of the country, and no doubt his lecture will prove a very instructive and interesting entertainment. The following from Grand Army Advocate is one of the hundreds of similar notices tendered him by the press:Captain Seeley, the noted lecturer, is drawing crowded houses wherever he appears. This we are not surprised to learn. We had a short talk with him some time ago, and we were convinced that he was the most thoroughly posted man on the events of the war that we have ever had the pleasure of talking with. Ilis prison life exxerience was about twenty-four months and he knows just what he is going to talk about when he appears before the footlights, and those who have the pleasure j of hearing him will say that he is one of the linest talkers they ever listened to.
