‘ Died—On Dry Fork, Phelps Co., April '13th, 1S77; Mrs. Susan, wile of Kan sonI T 'V ^ .Dean, aged 31 years, C months and 28 days.Mrs. Dean was a daughter of William Woolscy and came from Kentucky when quite young with her father to this county, | In 1S07 she joined the Christian Church and has lived a consistent Christian life and her end was peace* Two children are left (Eli and H6nry) with her companion, who will miss her ever kind and affectionate counsel. Although for nearly sin years she has been an invalid, and for three years confined to her bed, yet with her hands she worked for those whom she so dearly loved. Mrs. Dean leaves besides her companion and children, an aged father and mother, six brothers, George, Wesley, Moses, James, John L. and Samuel Woolscy; and three sisters, Mrs. James Lane, Mrs. Watts and Mrs. Leavitt; who will ever miss her kind welcome at her home. But let this thought comfort the surviving friends: that all her afflictions are o’er, and her trust was in the Lord and He is able to keep that which is committed to him.J. J. W.
