By GLORIA A. HOFFNER Sunday Times Correspondent BROOKHAVEN — Spring,a beautification program and giv ing extra attention to some areas of the community that need up. Mayor James Deeck said old trees were removed from around borough hall and the building received a paint job. Council President Armando DiCarlo added that interior re novations to the district judges and state representative rooms were almost final and that Mayor Deeck would soon move into his new office. The mayor will sit each Wed nesday evening at the municipal DiCarlo also said new signs for the municipal building should be in place within the week. Residents who wish to con tribute to the borough beautifica tion program may send their con tributions to the borough secretary. Councilman David Schlott re ported that the water company field, on Edgemont Avenue and Coebourn Boulevard has been cleared for shrubs. He also reported the clean-up of the parking lot area, across from Four Seasons Fitness Club and weeds removed from the pro perty. He said no littering signs had been posted in the area. Owners of Plaza 352 have been notified by council to clean up the area behind the Pathmark Supermarket and Charlie Hamilton Landscaping has been asked to clean their property located behind Clearwater Lane.
