Son of Oxnardwoman newGlendale mayorThe son of an Oxnard woman last Monday was swum in -s the new mayor of the City of Glendale.Kenneth R Stephens, 37, son of Mrs. James Rivers of 730 Devonshire Dr.. has the distinction of being Glendale's young est mayor, according to Mrs Rivers.Mrs. Rivers who came to lt;)x-] nard with her husband in 1959, j is on the board of directors of j the Monday Club and served with the St. John’s Hospital Auxiliary. She is active with the Republican Women's Club and a participant in various other community and service organizations.
