He acquire^ the Minneapo- ai lis-Moline franchise in 194$, and the Chevrolet Agency in 1949., he ?(si bought the former Art King Garage plt; ti j building where the business is now Tl located. MiHank was an active ’ community _ worker, he was a member of the Lions Club, the Chamber of Commerce, and Mi had been a member of the City Coun- acil -f or. tpe past 23 years. For phe C■ . - « ' VlU r • ! *past 6 years he has served as May- tor Pro Tern.; He was a member of the t Minneapolis-Moline Dealer’s Ass’n. a He is survived by his widow, Adlyn, two sons, Donald of Madrid and David in the Air Force in Viet Nam; one daughter, Mary Jo Rubis of Sioux City grandson, Thomas, and a Granddaughter, Debbie; one brother, William of Taylor, N.D. and two sisters, Mrs.lt;re Chris (Bessie) Pauls of Palmetto,Fla., and Mrs. George (Miriel) Osborn of Dodgeville, Wis. The son, David, was able to come home from Viet Nam, arriving Sat. morning. Bearers for the rite3 were Bill . %ers, Bernard Gins bach, Robert He-cox, Lyle Lastine, Hendrick Rierson, and George Geelan. Honorary bearers were Joe Conlon, Ervin Miller, Dr.R.S. Dana, Harold Schurg, Ed Marxen and R. H. Cole. Lightle-Hayes Fun-n eral Home was in charge of arrangements.
