Utahldaho Yellowstone Highway.Idaho Falls, Ida., April 18.—Judge 2*. D. Jackson, well known attorney, county commissioner of Fremont county, executive committeeman of the Utah-Idaho Yellowstone Highway association, and general good roads booster and public spirited citizen, of St. Anthony, spent yesterday in Idaho Falls attending district court and conferring with C. C. Deitrich, secretary of the big road association, who has been maintaining highway headquarters in this ■city for some time.Judge Jackson as executive committeeman has charge of the work of the association over something like seventy miles of the Yellowstone highway, upon which a great deal of new construction work is being done. He has just held conferences with the board of commissioners of Fremont county, of which he is chairman, State Highway Engineer Booth and District Forester McCune, of Ogden, and iB authority for the statement that the highway in Fremont county to the Targhee forest line will be completed immediately, and that as soon as snow conditions permit, work will be resumed upon the new scenic section of the route via Warm river, Upper Falls of the Snake, and Bear Oulch, to connect with the present highway near the famous Harrinmn ranches in Island park. The work iH to be prosecuted as fast as weather conditions will allow, and every effort is to be made to complete the new section for use before automobile traflic in the national park is permitted this year.Enthusiastic meetings have also been
