Miss i1]do Lespine comes to the motion picture field with a wide range of experience on the legitimate stage and in vaudeville. Her first stellar en-gsgement was when she played the lt;, lead in ‘The Turning Point'* by Preston Qibson, the milloinaire playwright. She also starred in vaudeville in two very clever sketches en-; titled “Mammy Lou and The Firstf Baby. It was in the latter sketch j \ that Manager J. V. Ritchey, of the ; Reliance Film Company, saw her, when he deeided to make her the * large offer of salary which started her career as a favorite ✓ the pic* ture fans.
