Ottumwa.—Charles E. Edman a as miner of this city, claims to have wage doped, and robbed of $800 in $20 gold pieces. Two other pouches con taining $1,160 more of the precious mictal were not found by the theff, if there was a theff in the case, and Chief of Police Gallagher has the bright $20 gold pieces locked securely in the safe of the police station.
