ACHRIS rorUKR MICHELS*Christopher Michels was burn nearAlbion, HI., July 10, 1825, ami departed mis life April 11, 1S99; aged 73 years and nine months, lie was united in marriage to Mary A. Huffman March 11, 1840, with whom he lived until about six years a go, when she was called to a better land. To them were born twelve children—six of whom are living. He united with the M. E. church and was converted earlv in life. He was a member of the M. K. church in Olnev, 111., at the time of his death.Two weeks before his death Brother Michels left his home in Olnev ami came to spend a little time with his son Finley, at whose home he died. On Thursday his remains were taken to Albion where his funeral occurred, conducted by Rev.S. A. McIntosh, pastor of the M. E. church at Bone Gap, after which his body was laid to rest in the old cemetery at Albion.
