COLONIAL BUSINESS NEWS.VICTORIA.The latest news from this colony is to Feb. 13, tothe following effect :—A mania for mining speculation is rife in Victor a. The branch mint in Melbourne city is nearly completed. The barque Maggie Leslie is loading the last of this season's wood shipments for America. The Melbourne Chamber of Commerce is urging the Government to run a steamer, with telegrams, from the terminus of the Anglo-Australian cr 6 tie to Nor-mantown, where the Queensland line terminates, in South Australia. A great indignation meeting has been held in consequence of the Sydney authorities having imposed customs duties to the injury of the Murray River trade, and negotiations are pending to prevent further interference with the trade. The overland telegraph is now nearly ready for working. The company has fixed the charge for 20 words fromAdelaide to London at 45 dols.♦
