wo Are Winners InIne Arts FestivalTwo Fieldcrest employees won first place awards in the recent 32nd annual Rockingham County Fine Arts Festival. They are Catherine Berry, first place in the watercolor category and Joan Cobb who won the Bicentennial Award.For Miss Berry, who won first place this year for her water-color entitled “Boats/’ this marks the 12th time she has won a first place award for her work. In addition to the first place cup, she won a $50 purchase award for this painting from the Reids-ville Woman’s Club.The painting will be hung in the Annie Penn Memorial Hospital in Reidsville. In 1956, shewon the Pitcher Award for having the best work in the festival. Miss Berry is a designer in the Karastan Designing Department.Mrs. Cobb is a first time winner in photography. She won the Bicentennial Award for a photograph entitled “Window.” She received a pewter plate donated by the Eden Junior ServiceLeague and a $15 cash awarddonated by the Eden Junior Woman’s Club.Mrs. Cobb also captured second place in the photography category. She is a product evaluation technician in the Quality Control Department at the Fieldcrest Technical Center.CATHERINE BERRY has won her 12th first place award
