MOBILIAN NAMEDfUNIVERSITY, Ala., April IS.—A disc tuition of school and col legs libraries and of library extension and the library commission, a book dinner, and the election of officers brought to a close the 26th anniversary meeting of the Alabama t$*: brary association. The body met at the university.Miss Kathleen Thompson of the Birmingham public library was elect-' ed president of the body. Other ficers Included: Miss Frances ett. Woman’s college, Montgomery, first vic^presldent; Mrs. Emma Harris, Mobile public library, second vice-president; Miss Betty Keith, Selma public library, third vice-president; Miss Mary Mullen, department of archives, Montgomery, retary; and Miss Mildred Anniston public library, treasurer.
