When the matter of leading a portion of the Freed property on the Lincoln Highway west of the city for a tourists camping ground and park was presented to the City Council on Thursday night those officials decided to lt;4glt;^ halvers’* with the Chamber of Commerce and appropriate public •funds to the amount of $75.00, one-half of the required sum, for the purpose. The C. of C. will consider the question of raising the other half at its next meeting, April 26.
