Accident,—Mr. G-. H. Summers, under date of April 8th, writes us that on Tuesday last as the citizens of Cold. -Spring 'were'firing an anvil and rejoicing over the fall of Richmond, the ring bursted flying in all directions, and severely fracturing the ancle of Mr. Henry Cornish, resident of that place. With proper care he will undoubtedly recover without losing the use of it's limb. This should serve as a warning to persons in future not to use cast iron rings.upon- anvils. * - -The Live Eagle of The 8th Wis.—Oneof the means being used to raise funds for the great N. W', Fair is the sale of photographs of this remarkable bird which is being done through th© great army of Sunday School chi Idren all through the cou o -try. This is a good opportunity toprojj cure a picture of the celebrated Eagle, which #3 a matter of State pride ought to be framed and hung in every Wisconsin home, so we hope none of pur friends will turn off the little folks who about these days are industriously canvassing for sub scribers, without at least subscribing for one- copy which coats but ten cents.
