SPEECH CLINIC Petal PaperChildren with speech problems will have an opportunity to receive therapy during the annual Summer Speech Clinic, planned June 17-28, on the Mississippi Southern College campus.The program is jointly sponsored hv the Speech and Hearing Clinic of Mississippi Southern and the Mississippi Society for Crippled Children and Adults.Dr. Robert W. Peters, clinic director. and Dr. Robert L. McCro-skey will supervise the work, assisted by senior and graduate clinicians. An intensive program of therapy, to include six hours per day, is planned.Dr. Peters said that children between the ages of eight and eighteen will be accepted. Among those who will receive attention will be children suffering from stuttering, cleft palates, articulation disorders and retarded speech Peters said.Cost of the program will be $22 for therapy; An additional room and board fee of $23 for the two-week period will be charged for those living on-campus. Dormitory accommodations will be available with supervisors in charge of students in dormitories.
