Desertion was listed by five mates as grounds for divorce in suits filed here last week. Lawrence White, 2449 E. 83 St., accused his wife, Mary, 7917 Bris tol with absenting herself from him since February, 1952 and re fusing and return. White said they were married on June 17, 1944, and have two children. Although he has asked Mrs. White to return to his bed and board several times she re fused to come back, the husband said. He is represented by Mrs. Lillian Long, lawyer. Mate in Prison Mrs. Eva B. Thomas, 3635 Seo sentenced him on Dec. 20, 1951. Judge Hanna passed Allen’s case for sentence after the conviction. Bill says she hasn't seen her hus band, Jess Thomas since August, 1930, which was three months af ter they were married in Akron, Ohio on May 15, 1930. The wife says that Thomas was convicted and committed to im prisonment in Ohio State Peniten tiary at Columbus, Sept., 1930, the next month after he left home. She wants a divorce. Richard F. Stevens is her lawyer. She Left Him Sherman Willis, 2839 E. 81st St. said his wife, Mrs. Vivian Willis, 4584 E. 159th St., left him and has refused to come back and resume living with him in a divorce he filed April 1. He said Mrs. Willis has also fail ed to perform other marital du ties. He seeks a divorce. The cou ple was married on March 16, 1948 and have two children whose ages are 2% and 1% years. Left Four Kids “She has neglected her home, says Lonnie Goodlin, 8114 Raw lings, concerning his wife, Mrs. Daisy Goodin, 5704 Outhwaite, in the suit he filed against her last week. He stated further that Mrs. Goodin would absent herself from home on frequent occasions and would never tell him where she had been. _ She would frequently be seen in company with other men. Be cause of her overt acts the very aims of their marriage were de feated, he declared. Goodin said he was married to Mrs. Goodin on Nov. 21, 1917 at Forsyth, Ga. They have four chil dren. Sam H. Griff is his attor ney. Mrs. Odessa Perry, 4618 E. 147 St., said her husband, Kenneth Perry is in the Ohio State Refor matory. She seeks a divorce on the grounds of neglect. ‘Mrs. Perry says sir on Dec. 24, 1948. She married 2 .
