Preliminary plans for two days of special bargain values next month are being contemplated by Corona Merchants. The “Dollar Days” will be May 18 and 19 and participating merchants will join in offering, unique money-saving values. The promotion plan which is sponsored by the Retail Divi sion of the Chamber of Commerce will be widely publicized by means of huge posters throughout the city and window display cards. For purposes of organizing the project ‘and gaining the coopera tion of as many retail concerns as possible six teams will be ap pointed... A meeting of team cap tains will be held tomorrow at 10 am. at the C. of C. offices. Promotion chairman is M. N. Hatcher. The finance department will be headed by Harold Hof. At this time team captains will consider details of the Dollar Day plans and will be given districts to cover in explaining the project to the merchants. Each merchant will receive a kit for display, in cluding window banners and price cards. It will be the purpose of the plan to make the days real value days for Corona shoppers.
