Beckstrom,Rudolph Peck and LyleRichmond.Foremost among these is Mr. Buhmiller, who, with Bill, workssolely at boring andrifling barrels in .23 .25, .270, and .30calibers for other gunsmiths and private individuals. Buhmiller barrels are known internationally for their quality. Mr. Peck turns down the outsides of thebarrels for Mr.Buhmiller preparatory to their boring.Mr. Hooper finishes the exteriors of and chambers barrels, fits magazines, actions, and sights and repairs guns. Both his and Mr, Buhmiller's businesses developed from hobbies, Mr. Buhmiller beginning boring barrels in1931, and Mr, Hooper starting two and one half years ago, when £ he came west for his health,Mr, Beckstrom,Immigration Officer, lias guns as his hobby, repairing them and collecting variousantique, and otherweapons, of which he has a large assortment Stock making andfitting is Mr.Richmond’s work along this line, as he turns out stocks for various riflemen intermittently.
